To install follow the instructions bellow:

Per illustration bellow proceed to the odbc data sources shortcut usually found in control panel or administrative tools and double click |

| 2. |
Per illustration bellow click add, select SQL Server from the list and click Finish |
| |
 |
| 3. |
Per illustration bellow Enter the SQL server name in all 3 fields then click next |
| |
 |
| 4. |
Per illustration bellow click client connection and make sure named pipes is selected then click OK to continue |

 |
| 5. |
Per illustration bellow Select the SQL authentication option and enter a username of sa, then enter in your SQL password, if you don't know this ask your systems administrator, then click Next |

| 6. |
Per illustration bellow click Next |
| |
 |
| 7. |
Per illustration bellow click Finish |
| |
 |
| 8. |
Per illustration bellow click Test Data Source ... |
| |
 |
| 9. |
Per illustration bellow click OK |
| |
 |
| 10. |
Per illustration bellow click OK |
| |
 |
| 11. |
Per illustration bellow click OK and you are done |
| |
 |
| 12. |
Now your db connection should work in the SIMMS db connection screen |
